every saturday is sleeping day
spent almost three quarter of the time today sleeping. think i am repaying my "sleeping debt" every saturday for the whole week. i did a simple calculation and realised that i slept only four to five hours on average during weekdays. maybe that explains why i always spend so much time sleeping every saturday. so much so that i have to kept yawning during my piano lesson every saturday and my piano teacher thought i was addicted to some drug or something.
yesterday was the J1 orientation "campfire" (which consist of a fake campfire with a fan blowing cellophane paper strips from the center some wood). the class item from artemis wasn't that great but in my opinion our faculty dance was the best! good job to the faculty committee member for putting in so much hard work in it...espcially michelle! haha. i like the athena and ares class item the most. thought skits wouldn't be too appropriate for a campfire item initially but in the end the two skits were pretty funny and caught our attention. ares class's skit about how couples around the world spent their valentine's day was especially hilarious at the scene when they showed how a couple in india spent their's. the nanyang girl who acted as the indian woman was very good and her "if you can't dance...let's just brrrrrrreak up" is still stuck in my head until now.
after that was the usual famous song and dance session when everyone would get high and all. a huge pity that it rained last night. if not the atmosphere in the parade square under the starry night (okay unsure if there was stars in the first place) would have been so much better. think we could have broke the guiness world records for "the most concentrated mass dance ever in a school". due to the rain the campfire was held in the hall and imagine about 2000 people dancing in the small hall. was just too squeezy i can't even move much during the mass dance except for the moves that involve raising out hands up lol.
after the campfire went to KAP with senior and junior class. pretty much like a gathering of the 05, 06 and 07S65 classes. took about one hour just to get to KAP...simply unbelievable. ate and chatted outside KAP initially but got scolded by the management from Mcdonald's after a while who claimed that residents are complaining (not long after everyone has bought food from Mcdonald's). truth was S65 didn't make much noise...other classes did but never mind we went back into Mcdonald's and got seats. started playing games like passing fries with our mouths and was forced to pass on this extremely short fries from ngehwee form my junior class. the fries was so short i could even see it when i tried to get it from her and i could actually feel her breath LOL.
after that was lucky enough to catch the last bus 67 home with francis. pretty fun night!
ahhhhhhhhhh my holiday homework still not completed yet.
